Design for Reliability

Design for Reliability (DFR) brings together the entire set of methods and tools that support product and process design (during the Product Development Cycle - Concept, Design, Prototype and Manufacturing) to ensure customer expectations for reliability are fully met. Companies are challenged to achieve uniformly high reliability in their product and process designs, while at the same time meeting shorter product development time schedules and lower budgets. This introduction to Design for Reliability covers the entire set of tools and methods that support DFR from concept through production.
