Becoming an Inventor is not always an easy process. In this course, we teach the first steps of how to transform yourself into an inventor.

This course will cover the aspects of beginning how to become an inventor, how to establish competence in inventing, how to develop an idea, how to invent patents, and how to patent inventions. Topics will address how to write a patent, how to establish patent teams, and establish a personal or corporate strategy. The course will address incubation of the idea, the patent writing process, best practices, the “do” and “don’t” in the preparation process. A unique feature of this course is that it is presented by an engineer – not a patent agent, or a patent attorney.
