I have had the opportunity to work with Denny Frye and his company "PTI"" for the past 25+ years in key staffing areas. We met at Mostek in the early 80’s where I was the Employment Manager. Denny’s recruiting capabilities were instrumental in supporting a critical growth phase for the company and his contributions to the talent base were key in the success of the company. I moved into a role at AMD in Austin Texas and worked with Denny in critical hires for the AMD organization in both Austin and San Antonio facilities. My name is Jack Nostrand. From 1969 until 1977 I was the employment manager at Harris Semiconductor. During that period I recruited numerous digital and analog designers, Fab engineers, CAD designers and engineering managers. On my more challenging needs I went to Denny Frye of PTIin order to identify suitable candidates. I found him to be proactive and thorough in his search and as a result I was able to fill a number of key openings. I know if no other “headihunting” firm more ethical than PTI. He would never recruit an engineer from a company he worked with. After 1977 I formed my own employment agency specializing in the Semiconductor industry.
