Definition
Phase-change memory is nonvolatile solid-state memory that stores information using reversible material states with different electrical resistance, commonly amorphous and crystalline states.
Application
Used to program and read memory cells through resistance changes produced by SET/RESET operations, including multilevel-cell implementations.
