Definition
Program disturb is an unintended shift in the threshold voltage or stored state of an unselected nonvolatile-memory cell caused by electrical conditions applied while another cell is being programmed.
Application
Used as a NAND-flash reliability and operating-window concern; programming and bias schemes are designed to inhibit unselected cells and limit cumulative state shifts that could create data errors.
