Definition
The repeating center-to-center spacing between adjacent memory cells or cell features along a defined direction in a memory array.
Application
Used as a scaling and density metric in DRAM and NAND. Smaller cell pitch increases memory density but tightens lithography, patterning, parasitic and device-performance constraints.
