Definition
A power delivery network (PDN) is the interconnected conductive path that delivers supply voltage and current from the power source through board, package, and on-chip distribution structures to electronic circuits.
Application
Used in chip, package, and board design to manage DC voltage drop, impedance, transient current demand, and supply-noise behavior from the source to circuit loads.
